EAGLE BASEBALL
The history and tradition of the St. Thomas baseball program has been known for decades throughout the state, built on ability, hard work and commitment. The program competes in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, winners in 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2008 of the TAPPS State Championship.
To provide the opportunity to play for the Eagles to as many of the students as possible, the program offers three teams, the freshmen team, junior varsity and the varsity. These teams play on Father Wilson Field in the heart of the St. Thomas campus.
Baseball tryouts begin in January, with team assignments made by the end of the month. The season runs through the end of April. St. Thomas also co-hosts the Father Wilson-Sister Julia Tournament annually in March. |
